Cinque Terre, April 2007

Cinque Terre (5 lands) is a magical little strip of land on Italy's west coast. The water is clear and cool and so inviting after hiking to each of the towns. Even with the throngs of Italian tourists, we had a great time. To break up the drive we stayed with our friend Jessica who has a great little Tuscan appartment not far from the area.
This was just the first course!
Anyone want to go swimming?

Check out his kitchen skillz!

A little view of the pregnant tummy, for any who might be interested.
Enlarge this one to really get the beauty.

This one would also be better if enlarged.
Little local girls.

OK you crazy Richards! I feel like I'm reliving my trip to Europe!! I was in Cinque Terra for a few days, AND Dingle! I loved both places!! They were both sooo tourist friendly, but not touristy. And, the food was awesome! Crazyness! The bump is cute, too! I think you are on the trajectory I was, last year, with a baby due in September. I had a tiny tummy as well! :) Can't wait to see you guys. Check out our blog, too!!

Aaaah, Cinque Terre ... Definitely one of my favorite places... Now that parenthood has settled down a little for the Rooks clan, I have time to enjoy the Richards' world tour. Thanks for posting so many lovely photos. I hope to see you soon in the flesh...
